The Derry sprinter tells his inspiring story ahead of next week’s London Games.

WITH A PERSONAL best of 10.22 seconds, Irish sprinter Jason Smyth is the fastest Paralympian on the planet.

The Derry native, who is visually impaired, missed out on a place at the London Olympics by just 0.04 seconds but is now focused on retaining his 100m and 200m titles at this month’s Paralympic Games.
