The former Dubs star will be helping Jim Gavin out next year.

JASON SHERLOCK IS set to join the Dublin senior football management team according to widespread reports today.

Sherlock, who won an All-Ireland in 1995 with the Blues, will work with the forwards as Jim Gavin looks to win back Sam Maguire after Dublin’s shock defeat at the hands of Donegal in this year’s semi-final.

Sherlock retired from inter-county football in 2010 after 15 years with Dublin and played alongside Gavin in the 1995 final.
