IRISH BOXER JASON Quigley put in a hugely-impressive performance to win his professional debut last night — defeating Howard Reece with a first round stoppage.
The 23-year-old Donegal middleweight took just 82 seconds to see off his American opponent on the undercard of Canelo Alvarez’s bout with Erislandy Lara at the MGM Grand, which Alvarez won on a split decision.
Quigley turned pro earlier this year with Golden Boy promotions after winning a gold medal in the European Championships in 2013.
