JASON DUFNER’S BID to win the Career Builder Challenge looked to have faltered when his tee-shot on the par-3 17th landed in the rocks over to the left of the green.
However, on closer inspection, Dufner found his ball was still playable, even if it was an extremely difficult shot.
That didn’t stop him from almost nailing it though:

The American would go on to win the tournament in a playoff and is probably glad he didn’t listen to the advice of fellow pro Chesson Hadley who tweeted this warning to Dufner:
