AFTER A DISAPPOINTING finish on Saturday evening, Jason Day reignited his Masters challenge today with a brilliant birdie-eagle start on the first two holes.

At the time of writing Day, who is bidding to become the first Australian to win the Masters, shares the lead with Angel Cabrera on -8. Brandt Snedeker is a shot back on -7 and Australia’s other main contender, Adam Scott, is on -6.

Day’s wasn’t the only stunning bunker shot lighting up Augusta this evening. How about this cracker from Luke Donald on the 16th?
