McCarthy in for Dublin as Gavin names team for Leinster final

The Ballymun Kickhams defender replaces John Small for Sunday’s showdown with Westmeath.

DUBLIN MANAGER JIM Gavin has named his team for this Sunday’s Leinster senior football final against Westmeath.

The Leinster champions have made one change to the team which made light work of Kildare by scoring 5-18 in the semi-final. James McCarthy, who came on as a substitute against the Lilywhites, gets the nod at right wing-back with John Small dropping out of the starting line-up.

Throw-in at Croke Park is at 2pm.
