JAMES HORAN HAS no regrets about his recent war of words with Joe Brolly.
The Mayo manager called out Brolly earlier this month for what he saw as biased comments by the RTÉ pundit in the run-up to last year’s All-Ireland football final.

Horan insists that he was right to stand up for his tactics and his players, accused by Brolly of cynical and persistent fouling in their semi-final win against Dublin.
But with Mayo ready to begin their Division 1 league campaign against Kerry in Castlebar on Sunday, he says it is time now to draw a line under the issue.
“There were things said about different players that I didn’t agree and I was just expressing my opinion,” Horan said on Newstalk’s Off The Ball last night. “I was asked it and I expressed my opinion as I do.”
It’s old news now at this stage. We’re just looking forward now, taking everything we can from 2012 and really looking forward to building on it from this season.
Asked if he had any second thoughts about dragging up Brolly’s comments months after the fact, Horan added: “I said what I said and that’s exactly what I think and what I feel.
“As I said, that’s old news to me at this stage. I’ve a game on Sunday and I’m really looking forward to getting the team ready. That’s where the focus is.”
