Gallagher's opponent revealed as he's set to defend unbeaten record in Dublin

Jeremiah Labiano is next up for ‘The Strabanimal’, as they headline the Bellator event this November.

STRABANE NATIVE JAMES Gallagher will defend his unbeaten record (7-0) against Jeremiah Labiano in Dublin this November.

It had previously been confirmed that ‘The Strabanimal’ would headline Bellator Dublin in the 3 Arena on 10 November, but his opponent had not yet been announced.

Off the back of a ruthless display in Madison Square Garden in June, the 20-year-old will be full of confidence on home soil.

From California, Labiano (11-5) will enter the Bellator cage for the fourth time in his professional career, and is seeking his 12th win overall.

‘The Kid’ recently defeated Stephen Cervantes en route to his first career featherweight world title. The 30-year-old has gone the distance in six of his last eight fights.

“Welcome to the real Jimmy show,” SBG fighter Gallagher said of the news.

“It will be a first for the fans here to have a Bellator event of this magnitude in Ireland and it’s the first time that my opponent will ever be strangled, so I’m glad it’s in front of my people.

“It’s the first phase of building the Jimmy empire, and I’m still only 20.”
