JACK GREALISH COULD be ruled out for the remainder of 2017 after the 21-year-old suffered kidney damage in a collision with Watford’s Tom Cleverly.
The pair collided during a pre-season friendly on Saturday, with Grealish later being taken to hospital where he underwent an operation.

Manager Steve Bruce confirmed that the midfielder had been tin hospital for a number of days and could be out of action for a minimum of three or four months.
“He’s poorly at the moment, I went to see him in hospital.
“We’re obviously disappointed with the injury. He’s still in hospital and things aren’t great. We hope that he has a speedy recovery, of course, as losing him is a blow to us.”

Grealish made 31 appearances, including 20 starts for Villa in the Championship last season, scoring five goals.
However the winger has managed just 47 starts during three seasons at the club.
Grealish turned down the opportunity to represent the Irish senior national team in 2015 despite playing at underage level.
He was an unused substitute as England made it to the semi-finals of this summer’s European U21 Championships, eventually losing to Germany on penalties.
“I can’t see him being available for at least three or four months”, manager Bruce confirmed to ITV. “That’s what the doctors are saying as we speak.
“He’s stable but he is still in a lot of pain in hospital. We wish him a speedy recovery, because he was in a lot of pain yesterday.
“It’s a blow for all of us that he is going to miss a big chunk of the season, probably up until Christmas.”
