CELTIC WRAPPED UP another successful Scottish Premiership season this afternoon with an utterly dominant 7 – 0 home win over Motherwell.
However, it was the seventh goal-scorer of the day – after Kieran Tierney, Tom Rogic, Michael Lustig, Stuart Armstrong, Patrick Robertson and Ryan Christie – who was the most remarkable.
On his final day in charge, Ronny Deila introduced 16-year-old Jack Aitchison to make him the youngest player ever to represent the club. And the young Scot didn’t rock back on his heels content with that achievement, he pounced on a loose ball in the 77th minute and made himself Celtic’s youngest ever goalscorer with a cool left-footed finish.
