It's on... Pacquiao to fight Marquez again

A fourth fight between the pair will be highly anticipated due to the close nature of the previous three bouts.

FILIPINO BOXER Manny Pacquiao has reportedly agreed to a fourth fight with Juan Manuel Marquez, which is set for 8 December.

Pacquiao, a 10-time world champion across eight weight divisions, has fought Marquez in three impressively tight bouts, although it does mean Pacquiao has decided against a rematch with Timothy Bradley, who defeated the 33-year-old Filipino on 9 June.

Boxing promoter Bob Arum revealed he is closing in on a contract to cement a clash between Pacquiao and Marquez.

“It’s certainly going in that direction,” Arum said. A fourth fight between Pacquiao and Marquez will be highly anticipated due to the close nature of the previous three bouts.

The first was ruled a draw before Pacquiao claimed the next two fights in tight decisions that many believe could have easily gone the way of Marquez.
