THE CRUSADERS MAY have missed out on Super Rugby success this season but several of the Canterbury club’s players have consoled themselves with a number one hit.
Led by All Black fullback Israel Dagg, the C-City Brothers have stormed to the top of New Zealand’s iTunes charts with their dance/rap tune Never Walk Away. All money raised from proceeds of the single are going towards the country’s Cystic Fibrosis Association.

The five-piece band consists of Dagg, Robbie Fruean, Andy Ellis, Telusa Veainu and Willi Heinz. Unsurprisingly, all five men are in the Crusaders backline division.
To date, the song has had more than 113,000 views on YouTube. Check out the song here:
