Is Roy Keane heading for Turkey?

Reports in the Turkish press seem to suggest the former Irish international is on his way to Kasımpaşa.

REPORTS IN TURKEY are suggesting that former Manchester United captain Roy Keane is close to taking over the reigns at Kasımpaşa.

The team, currently third in the Turkish top flight, are looking for a new coach after parting company with Metin Diyadin recently.

However, following a week of speculation, various Turkish media outlets are reporting Saturday that Keane has signed a two year deal with the club and will be announced as their new manager on Sunday morning.

The 41-year old has worked as a pundit for ITV since being sacked by Ipswich in January 2011.

While he was always expected to return to management – indeed he has expressed a desire to do so on several occasions – few would have predicted the former Sunderland boss would look to Turkey as his route back into football.
