A walkover for Katie - and the rest of the winners from last night's National Boxing finals

The reigning European, World and Olympic champion collected another Irish senior title last night.

KATIE TAYLOR WAS crowned Irish lightweight champion again last night without throwing a punch.

The reigning European, World and Olympic champion received a walkover in the 60kg final after her opponent Alanna Audley-Murphy withdrew due to a family bereavement.

Taylor was in the National Stadium to collect her title on a night when five other women’s finals were decided.

Dublin’s Lynn Harvey won the light-flyweight division with a third-round TKO against Lynn McEnery.

Michaela Walsh beat Dervla Duffy on a unanimous decision in the bantamweight final while there were also wins for Kelly Harrington, Claire Grace and Fiona Nelson.
