KATIE TAYLOR WAS crowned Irish lightweight champion again last night without throwing a punch.
The reigning European, World and Olympic champion received a walkover in the 60kg final after her opponent Alanna Audley-Murphy withdrew due to a family bereavement.
Taylor was in the National Stadium to collect her title on a night when five other women’s finals were decided.
Dublin’s Lynn Harvey won the light-flyweight division with a third-round TKO against Lynn McEnery.

Michaela Walsh beat Dervla Duffy on a unanimous decision in the bantamweight final while there were also wins for Kelly Harrington, Claire Grace and Fiona Nelson.
