OVER THE PAST few days, we’ve witnessed Irish football fans hilariously serenade a random French man on his balcony, sing World Of Our Own by Westlife and generally be really sound.

One such act of soundness?

Yesterday, an Irish supporter named Jay realised he had lost his ticket for yesterday’s match. Heartbreak.

But then a group of his fellow Irish fans banded together to buy him a new ticket. His response? “I just won the Lotto.”

Brian Kerrigan, who shared the video on Facebook, explained to DailyEdge.ie that he’s over in France with eleven of his friends.

He and five of his mates came across Jay and immediately chipped in €50 to buy him a new ticket.

It was nothing, really.

Tell that to Jay.
