Páirc Uí Chaoimh to host Ireland's final Euro 2025 qualifier against France

Ireland WNT to play a home international outside Dublin for the first time since June 2012.

CORK’S PÁIRC UÍ CHAOIMH will host Ireland’s Euro 2025 qualifier against France in July — the first senior women’s home international to be played outside Dublin since June 2012.

The sides meet on Tuesday 16 July in the final round of Group A3 qualifiers, with kick off set for 6pm.

Eileen Gleeson’s Ireland have played their opening two home fixtures at the Aviva Stadium, but the Lansdowne Road venue is set to host both P!NK and Taylor Swift in concert later this month and will still be unavailable for the France match.

Tallaght Stadium — for years the team’s traditional home — is also unavailable due to a potential clash with Shamrock Rovers’ Champions League qualification campaign.

“Due to both Tallaght Stadium and Aviva Stadium being unavailable for this date, the Football Association of Ireland has agreed with The Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) and Cork GAA to use the Cork venue for this game,” an FAI statement said on Thursday.

“It’s exciting to be able to play our final game in our Euro 2025 qualifying campaign in Cork,” Gleeson said.

“With both Tallaght Stadium and the Aviva Stadium unavailable it opens up new opportunities.

“I’ve no doubt that our fans across the Munster region will come out to support us and we’re looking forward to playing in front of another large crowd and finishing our group campaign on a high.”
