James McClean, who apologised to his team-mates after an outburst on Twitter earlier in the week, took full part but Robbie Keane, John O’Shea, Jon Walters and Darren O’Dea – who have all returned to their clubs – were notable absentees.
Ireland meet the Asian side at Craven Cottage on Tuesday evening in their last game before next month’s World Cup qualifier against Germany in Dublin.
