Good news! Romain Poite won't be refereeing an Ireland game in the 6 Nations

Though we won’t have Nigel Owens either.

THE REFEREES FOR the 2015 Six Nations matches were unveiled by World Rugby today.

Ireland’s fixtures will be officiated by Pacal Gauzere (v Italy), Wayne Barnes (v France), Craig Joubert (v England), Steve Walsh (v Wales) and Jerome Garces (v Scotland).

South African referee Joubert has been handed arguably the biggest fixture in the tournament, England’s trip to face Ireland in Dublin. Joubert also refereed the reverse fixture in February, which proved to be Ireland’s only defeat in 2014.
