Here's how the table looks this afternoon. RTE

Open thread: what's your verdict on Ireland's 6 Nations campaign?

Is it the end of the road for Declan Kidney? Did they do as well as expected considering injuries? Have your say.

WELL THAT WAS eventful.

Ireland wrapped up their dramatic 6 Nations campaign this afternoon with a 22-15 defeat to Italy in Rome.

The result means Declan Kidney’s side could end up with the wooden spoon, depending on the France-Scotland game tonight.

They’ve endured a campaign marked by injuries to central players like those amongst Jonny Sexton, Gordon D’Arcy, Stephen Ferris, Tommy Bowe, Paul O’Connell and others.

But does the unprecedented casualty list mitigate for some — at times –baffling tactics, the ongoing No 10 debacle and missed opportunities in several games?

Brian O’Driscoll may well have played his final game in green and Kidney will no doubt be forced to answer questions about his future now.

So, what do you think?
