THE FAI HAS announced that Ireland will meet Italy at London’s Craven Cottage on 31 May (7.45pm).
The Boys in Green are lining up a number of friendly games for the end of the season and a visit of Turkey to Dublin on 25 May will be followed by a fixture against the Azzurri at Fulham’s home ground six days later.
On the same night, Wembley Stadium hosts the re-match between Carl Froch and George Groves.
It will be the 14th time that the teams have faced each other — the last meeting ended in a 2-0 win to Cesare Prandelli’s side at Euro 2012.
