Glenn Whelan and James McCarthy make up a two-man midfield with promising youngster Robbie Brady and James McClean on the wings. Up front, Simon Cox has been preferred to Wes Hoolahan alongside Shane Long, but the Norwich City attacker has been guaranteed 45 minutes so should be introduced at half-time.
