The biblical weather has hit the GAA and their junior disco market hard today

Celbridge and Faughs GAA clubs have been washed out and local youths have been left devastated.

AS YOU ARE probably aware, it has been a very, very wet day in Ireland today. Depending on what part of the country you are in, you’ve probably been mildly splashed or completely drenched.

A few GAA clubs have shared their rain-soaked misery on social media and some of the flooding has been fairly substantial.

Faughs GAA club in Templeouge, Dublin tweeted this photo of their hurling wall.

Club members were then put to work to ensure the clubhouse can be used tonight.

Celbridge in Kildare was also hit by the weather and not only was the GAA club flooded, but disastrously the junior disco had to be cancelled as a result, according to Twitter reports.

No doubt the local Brylcreem market has collapsed as a result.
