The loss makes it one point from two games for Andrew Meredith’s side.

THE IRISH HOCKEY team were beaten 4-2 by New Zealand in Rotterdam in the World League today.

Despite several moments of promise for the Irish side, some ruthless finishing from the New Zealanders put paid to Andrew Meredith’s side’s hopes of victory.

They now are set to face the Netherlands on Monday at 8.00pm local time.
