Inter suspend €38 million Belgian star for 'disciplinary reasons'

Midfielder Radja Nainggolan has been told to stay away from the Italian club for the time being.

RADJA NAINGGOLAN HAS been suspended by Inter for “disciplinary reasons,” the Serie A club announced on Sunday.

The Belgian midfielder only joined Inter in June from Roma in a deal reported to be worth €38million plus Nicolo Zaniolo, though he has failed to live up to expectations.

Nainggolan has scored two goals in 11 Serie A outings, with Inter currently sitting third in the table.

But he looks unlikely to feature in their next few games following Inter’s shock announcement that he will be barred from “football activity”.

Inter’s statement read: “Inter can confirm that Radja Nainggolan has been temporarily suspended from football activity for disciplinary reasons.”

United have gone for high profile, statistically strong players that just don’t fit the club.Saw Josh King linked today, not a massive name but could certainly do well and given he came through their academy and has PL experience could be a good fit.

Don’t think they need a lot in midfield or up front. 2 decent defenders would be great. But it’s very difficult to sign in January. Nice to look forward to games now.

@irishoverseas: even one strong defender would do. Think keep the players for the remainder of the season, blood some of the younger midfield/forward players this year and then let who ever comes in as manager in the summer the basis of a strong squad to at least start the rebuilding process.
