DUBLIN SPRINTER BRIAN Gregan showed his class in this morning 400m heat at the European Indoor Athletics Championships.
Gregan, who holds the fastest time over the distance in Europe this season, powered out of the blocks and crucially took the lead at the half way stage as the runners left their lanes.

After easing off in the final straight, he would coast into the semi-final with a time of 46.97 seconds. Leaving him sixth fastest overall going into the semi-finals which will go under the gun at around 4.45 pm tomorrow afternoon.
