What’s with the Jedward bashing? Are people jealous? Fair play to them they were athletes before X Factor. They brought in kids who normally wouldnt give a hoot about the Olympics I say well done to them and all the other athletes who carried the torch to day!
Any one else put the green envy monster away

No, people are pissed off that people like Philip Murphy (a two-time World Champion in Olympic clay pigeon shooting) was passed over (what, two world championship medals and a host of world cup medals aren’t enough?) and the likes of them were picked to carry the torch.

It’s pissing on the people actually *in* Olympic sport in Ireland. And don’t tell me they were athletes. Winning a community games race is a ways off from bringing home World Championship medals in an Olympic sport.

They should not of let those two idiots “jedward” near the torch! There are alot more famous and distinguished people in the country than those two morons!
They are a joke and make the country look line one too!
