I'll be seeing you: Fabregas hit the social network to declare Euro 2012 fitness

The Spanish midfielder says he will be ready to play Italy on 10 June and Ireland four days later.

SPAIN AND BARCELONA midfielder Cesc Fabregas took to Twitter on Monday to assure supporters that he will be fighting fit for Euro 2012.

The former Arsenal midfielder suffered a thigh injury after coming off the substitue’s bench in his club’s Copa del Rey win over Athletic Bilbao last Friday.

He has been ruled out of action for 10 days but insists that he will be 100% fit for the start for the reigning champions Spain of the championships.

Spain play Italy on 10 June and Fabregas is seeking a place in the starting line-up.

Fabregas made a scoring debut for Barcelona but his form dipped at the midpoint of the season and he often found himself on the bench for vital Champions League encounters.

However, form and fitness worries did not prevent Spanish coach Vicente Del Bosque from selecting him in his 23-man squad for Euro 2012 on Sunday.

Spain take on Ireland Thursday, 14 June in Gdansk.
