In pics: Ireland's heartbreaking defeat against England in WRWC semi-final

The dream of seeing Philip Doyle bow out after a World Cup final was dashed in emphatic style by England.

Despite Ireland’s strong start yielding a try through Tania Rosser, England’s Chariot rolls on into the final for the sixth time in seven tournaments.

Here’s how it looked.
