Liverpool may not be too keen on taking Iago Aspas back after this sitter

The Spanish forward, currently on loan at Sevilla, was guilty of a bad miss in the Copa Del Rey tonight.

AS LIVERPOOL FANS will be well aware, Reds striker Iago Aspas is currently on a season-long loan at Sevilla.

The Spaniard, who has scored seven goals so far this season, was furious with manager Unai Emery last weekend when he was an unused sub in the 1-0 win over his boyhood club Celta Vigo.

Tonight, Aspas was given 26 minutes to shine in the Cope Del Rey fifth round first leg against Granada, but completely fluffed his lines in the 80th minute by failing to hit the target from 12 yards out.

Sevilla won out 2-1 thanks to goals from Gerard Deulofeo and Kevin Gameiro.
