THE ENGLISH ARE known for their outlandish sports — such as worm-charming or cheese-rolling — but shin-kicking might be at the top of the list.

The shin-kicking championships were held in a rural county in southwest England, and from the video it seems that there was a huge crowd on hand to witness the games.

One of the judges described the sport as “a bit like wrestling, but with a lot of contact below the knees.”
