LAST WEEK, A major controversy blew up around Hulk Hogan – with the wrestler, reality show star and former all-American hero at the centre of the news.
It came out that Hulk had said a racist term eight years ago, and last week got fired because of it. Hulk apologised for the remarks, but it hasn’t exactly calmed down – and the last 24 hours has seen his Twitter account become the centre of attention.
People have been sending Hulk tweets of supposed support – but many of them aren’t even close to being real.
We reached peak piss-take when someone passed this photo of Drake and Rio Ferdinand off as a message of support
More images of footballers followed, as Hulk was clearly blindly retweeting anything remotely positive sounding
There’s Romelu Lukaku with the thumbs up for Hulk.
Efe Ambrose got a big RT too, brother.
This is Andrey Arshavin and Emmanuel Eboue. We’re not sure if they’re Hulkamaniacs, but they’re not really brothers.
Kolo Toure popped up.

After thousands of retweets on these jokes, people just started watching Hulk’s Twitter to see what happened next
With some comparing his timeline to Craggy Island‘s favourite slideshow presentation
