Horse racing: waterlogged Navan called off

Officials at the Co Meath course held an early-morning inspection.

TODAY’S SCHEDULED MEETING at Navan has been cancelled because of a waterlogged track.

Officials at the County Meath circuit were left with no option but to call it following an early-morning course inspection, they said in a statement.

Further overnight rain put paid to any notion of the jumps fixture defeating the inclement weather today.
