Montreal Canadiens Trent McCleary took a puck to the the throat. He went down, obviously. And was in tremendous pain, obviously, as the slap-shot had collapsed his windpipe.

McCleary lost consciousness but had a tracheotomy within 10 minutes of leaving the rink.
