Home is the hero: Katie Taylor touches down in Dublin

The 25-year-old sealed her fourth world title in a row with a solid 11-7 win over Russian southpaw Sofya Ochigava yesterday.

KATIE TAYLOR WAS given a hero’s welcome when she arrived at Dublin Airport this evening.

The Bray boxer has some extra luggage, of course – the gold medal she won at the world championships in China yesterday morning.

Speedy recovery lads. It’s was a very poor finish for Cork but Tipp never gave up, to their credit. Roll on Wexford.
