The former women’s bantamweight champion won her first UFC fight since November 2015 with a stunning third-round KO against Bethe Correia in Singapore.
After a cagey start from both fighters, Saturday’s main event at UFC Fight Night 111 exploded to life when Holm caught Correia with a perfectly-placed head kick.
As Correia crumpled, the American followed up with a punch, forcing referee Marc Goddard to step in and wave off the fight after 1:09 of the third round.

Holm arrived in Singapore on the bank of three straight defeats since her sensational title win over Ronda Rousey, including a failed title shot at featherweight earlier this year.
Marcin Tybura won the co-main event, beating Andrei Arlovski after their three-rounder went the distance.
Earlier on the card, former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos made a winning start to life at welterweight with a unanimous decision win over Tarec Saffiedine.
Colby Covington proclaimed himself “the most complete welterweight in the division” after he dominated Dong Hyun Kim in a one-sided contest, winning 30-25, 30-26, 30-27.
“This win should now put me in the top 10 of the welterweight division,” Covington said.
“No one outside of the top 5 had beaten Kim previously – only the top guys and that’s where I think I belong.
“I want a top contender next. I’m ready to be that guy – to step up against Maia, Woodley, whoever.”
