Then last night Fennell’s transfer saga at last ended. The Dublin County Board decided to ignore a recommendation from the management committee and finally sanctioned the player’s move from O’Toole’s to St Vincent’s.
Today there’s yet more good news for Fennell as he’s landed a modelling contract with John Compton, a top Dublin agency.
He told the Evening Herald, “I’m not familiar with the industry but I know a few people involved in modelling and they all recommended John’s agency. He’s a lovely fella and I trust his judgment, so we’ll just see how things go.”
The midfielder is a Gaelic Games Coordinator. A hip injury means he will miss the start of Dublin’s Allianz National League campaign.
