Here's the man LA Galaxy want to partner Robbie Keane next season

MLS club chiefs are targeting a move for Chelsea forward Didier Drogba in a bid to replace David Beckham, according to reports in England.

THE LA GALAXY may have won the MLS Cup on Sunday night, but franchise chiefs are not resting on their laurels.

David Beckham has come to the end of his five-year contract in Los Angeles and the single-goal win over Houton Dynamo looks to be the Hollywood ending to his stay.

Now the club want to replace the former England captain with another big name. And manager Bruce Arena reckons Chelsea striker Didier Drogba is the man to fill Becks’ adidas boots.

The Daily Mail reports that the Ivory Coast talisman will be offered £5million a year to make the move west. He will be a free agent next summer.
