AS ANYONE WHO has ever delivered a sombre report with kids making funny faces behind them will tell you, live television is *fraught* with danger.
Last night, Dan Walker was presenting BBC Four’s Olympic coverage from the Copacabana when out of nowhere, a Brazilian hen party rocked up beside him.
Before he knew it, he was interviewing a bride-to-be named Maria on live television.
Soon she was making declarations of love to her fiancé on live television
And once her party discovered that they were on BBC, they began to chant, “BBC! BBC! BBC!”
There may have been prosecco taken.
Walker’s reaction to the whole thing? “You wouldn’t get that on BBC One.”
Watch the whole thing below.

Disappointed nobody flung a penis straw at Dan, but good work, gals.
