DAVID HAYE HAS told the BBC that he plans to start an acting career, now that he has quit the world of boxing.
The Londoner announced his retirement from the sport on his 31st birthday this week, his last fight coming in the defeat to Wladimir Klitschko on 2 July last.
Haye always insisted he would quit the sport when he turned 31 and was adamant that he would not be returning to the sport.
“The next phase of my career is going to be acting. I’m going to study acting and be the best possible actor I can be,” he revealed.

“I’m going to take the same mindset and mentality I had in my athletic career and, obviously, to get anything out of life you have to put in the hard work and graft so I’m looking forward to challenging myself and training to be the best actor I can be.”
Haye wants to be the next Cleese. The next Jacobi. The next Gielgud, even.
