The France midfielder unleashed a rising drive to secure all three points for Toon.

HATEN BEN ARFA pulled out a finish from the top drawer at St James’ Park today to deliver Newcastle United’s first league win of the season.

Having struck the woodwork moments beforehand, the French midfielder took possession of the ball outside the Fulham box, streaked away from two defenders and unleashed a rising drive past David Stockdale. The Geordies in the crowd certainly enjoyed it:
