THIS YEAR’S MARCH Madness tournament has thrown up its fair shares of twists and turns — but few have been as entertaining as last night’s thriller between Kentucky and Michigan.
After a brilliant back-and-forth, the final ‘Elite Eight’ game was still tied at 72-72 with five seconds left when Kentucky worked the ball out to their 19-year-old shooting guard Aaron Harrison.

Harrison was well guarded by Caris LeVert, and had absolutely no right to score, but somehow he managed to get his shot off beyond his opponent’s despairing block and landed a three-pointer with just 2.6 seconds on the clock.
It wasn’t enough time for Michigan to respond and Kentucky, a number eight seed, join Wisconsin, Florida and UConn in the ‘Final Four’ on Saturday evening.
