OLYMPIC-BOUND GOLFER Pádraig Harrington has made the weekend at the Travelers Championship in Connecticut, but it was another bad week for Shane Lowry after he failed to make the cut.
Rounds of 70 and 69 ensured Harrington a safe passage to the weekend on a score of one-under, but the Offaly man missed out by a single shot after he finished on even-par.

At the end of the second round, there was a four-way tie for the lead, with South African Tyrone van Aswegen, Australian Marc Leishman and American pair Daniel Berger and Russell Henley all on seven-under par.
