Leinster were stunned by the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein on Friday night before Munster were thumped by Glasgow at Scotstoun, leaving the northern province to provide the only positive with a bonus point win over the Dragons.
On Saturday, Connacht’s disastrous start to the campaign continued with a two-point defeat to Cardiff, a result which left head coach Kieran Keane speechless.
