I hate to sound trite or cliche but Carbery really has that X-factor in spades, while Conan could become one of the best No 8s in the world
Tom, I was just thinking the same thing. Carbery has great hands and footwork. Adam Byrne is a serious prospect also.
I’m laughing at the cheek of Luke McGrath though to sneak in and rob his hat-trick
@Luke Mc Gahren: Conan is in disbelief when he sees McGrath sneak in under him to score! Jack Carty’s two touch assist for Poolman’s non-try and Bealham side-stepping the full back were pretty funny moments in the Connacht game as well.
speed of Jack conan, holy shit.
Conan and Carbery were outrageously good last week. Apart from the footage above, both players’ match stats were international class against the Dragons. Conan scored 2 tries, set up 1, ran for 123 metres and still managed to make 16 tackles in the game without missing one. Crazy numbers for a no.8. Carbery ran for 157m, making 5 tackles, missing none and set up a try; which isn’t bad for a guy who has rarely played professionally at 15. It may have only been the Dragons but both showed that they were a class above in the game.
Is that Rob Kearney playing full back for Treviso , similar tackle technique for Beahlams try!!!
Triggs at 2:36!! Hilarious piece of skill.
if you look week on week. Carbery and Conan. What can you say Joe?
The Treviso fullback who got stepped by a tighthead needs to take a long hard look at himself
And so does the forward who got sat down by 5’7 Caolin Blade
Carberry looks seriously impressive at full back. Continues to give Ross Byrne opportunity to develop. Adam Byrne has that bit of international class.
It pisses me off no end that there are clearly camera crews at all of the games but for some reason the Connacht game was un-televised. FFS wack a stream up if nobody is picking up the rights to broadcast.
