14-year-old Guan Tianlang pings an approach to 5-feet at US Masters

They’ll have to Guan-proof this course soon if he keeps this up.

CHINESE GOLFING PRODIGY Guan Tianlang is putting together a decent opening round at the US Masters.

The 14-year-old, the youngest ever competitor at Augusta National, finished his openind round with a birdie on 18 and signed for a 73 [+1].

Earlier in the day, he unfurled this peach of an approach from the fairway on 10:

He rolled home the resulting birdie putt from five feet out. He bogeyed the next hole, 11, but claimed a shot back at the par five 13th hole.
