AS SENSATIONAL RETURNS go they don’t get more sensational than this as 38-year-old Graham Geragthy makes a return to Meath’s senior football panel ahead of the All-Ireland Football Championship this summer.
Geraghty, a legend among Meath fans and the owner of two All-Ireland medals, announced his retirement in 2008.
However, having been in fine form for his club side Clann na nGael, manager Seamus McEneaney has decided to recall Geraghty to his panel, RTÉ Sport reports this evening.
The full-forward is not eligible for this evening’s challenge match against Westmeath but could be fit for the Leinster Championship opener on 5 June against either Kildare or Wicklow.
