Glasgow move past Ulster and Munster into second after surviving late scare

Edinburgh looked dead and buried at Scotstoun before Tim Visser struck with two tries in the last five minutes.

GLASGOW WARRIORS HAVE moved up to second in the RaboDirect Pro12 table after defeating Edinburgh 37-34 at Scotstoun.

Warriors looked to be cruising as they put five tries on their guests, including a double for fullback Peter Murchie, before Edinburgh finally showed signs of life. Visser scurried over for one try and streaked clear for a second to make it a one-score game before the clock beat Edinburgh to it.

The victory elevates Glasgow to second in the table, ahead of Munster then Ulster. The Scots look to have a firm grip on that second home semi-final behind league-leading Leinster.
