ALREADY DISAPPOINTED BY another limp and forgettable Manchester United performance against Southampton, the club’s interim manager Ryan Giggs walked into his post-game press conference and, within seconds, his frustrations were turned up a notch.
As he took his seat in the St. Mary’s media room, Giggs was greeted by a television screen showing the on-pitch celebrations taking place at Eastlands.

The sight of Manchester City players reveling in a second Premier League triumph in three years was too much for Giggs who asked for it to be switched off.
“You couldn’t turn that off, could you? Flippin’ ‘eck.”
One journalist chimed in by asking Giggs, ”Not good viewing?”
Giggs didn’t respond. Instead, he looked away and said, “You don’t mind if I stare over there, do you?”

With Louis van Gaal expected to be appointed the new United manager later this week, Giggs is hopeful of a resolving his own future shortly. He’s still undecided as to whether or not he should continue playing though he’s admitted that’s not entirely his decision to make.
It’s believed van Gaal is keen to retain Giggs as part of his coaching staff.
