Mourinho stops by the Tour de France to 'swap' shirts with Rui Costa

Rui Costa the cyclist, not your favourite Portuguese player of the 90s.

THE TOUR DE France brought all the big names out on its third day in England.

Jose Mourinho showed his interest in the Grand Tour, stopping by to ‘swap jerseys’ with his fellow Portuguese, Lampre-Merida rider Rui Costa.

We say ‘swap’, because we don’t see Jose taking off his tailored shirt to give to the cyclist as extra baggage, but maybe he’s already sent Costa a spare Chelsea, Real Madrid or Inter Milan medal in the post.

The open expanse of Le Tour also meant that Mourinho was less sheltered from the wider public than he would be in the confines of a Premier League ground.

So when he stopped for this interview (all in Portuguese, but we think he backed Brazil to beat Germany) it was really only a matter of time before he was video-bombed by this Dougal Maguire-esque sneak attack.
