WATCH: Ireland's Sean Greenwood recovers heroically from a 74mph crash

He was competing at the skeleton event in Sochi earlier.

IRISH ATHLETE SEAN Greenwood may have finished in last place in the second skeleton heat today, but it did not stop him from receiving plenty of praise for his performance.

During the heat, he suffered a bad crash — and considering that he was roughly going at 74 MPH when the accident occurred, it’s no surprise that he has been receiving a wealth of compliments for managing to stay on his sled and finish the race.
